Batanga 🇲🇽🍋‍🟩🥤 This was the cocktail of 2024 as decided by my fellow cocktail influencers. It’s easy to make, even easier to drink, just magic in a glass. I’m here to remind you that it’s just as good in 2025. With so few ingredients in this cocktail, it’s important to use the best ones you can get. You should have Mexican cola made with real cane sugar, and a quality additive free tequila. I’m using Cazcanes no. 9 which is bottled at 100° and that extra proof and big agave flavor made for a highly delicious beverage that I can’t wait to make for friends. The other fun part about this drink is every bar will have the ingredients to make one! This cocktail doesn’t have precise measurements, but these are roughly the ratios that I used. 1.5oz Blanco Tequila @drinkcazcanes🇲🇽 1/2 lime 🍋‍🟩 6oz cola @Fever-Tree 🥤 Salt 🧂 Note about cola: you can use the name brand that everybody is familiar with, but I went with fever tree here because their new cola caught my eye, and it’s made with real cane sugar.
