πŸͺ•βœ¨T H E B A R D ✨πŸͺ• 🎢 Sharing the whimsy that can happen when your portrait session subject is nothing short of a magical, modern-day bard. I recently had the absolute honor of working with Irish-American folk musician & song saver, Melanie Beth Curran ( @Melanie Beth Curran ), to work on photographs for her upcoming album. Her songs weave tales of longing, joy, history, & bring to us present-day listeners tales from generations past. As a portrait photographer, my goal is to capture the essence and enhance the stories of fellow clients & artists, and while fantasy photography will always hold a special place in my heart, the core of everything I do, no matter the genre is storytelling. βœ¨πŸƒMy photos, both for myself & my clients/subjects, are a way to capture narratives & share them with whoever is willing to listen. And whether it be fantastical worlds in my self-portraiture or the raw beauty of a musician’s journey in a portrait session, the story is at the heart of it. πŸ“ΈBranching out in different methods/genres, challenging myself, & exploring my creativity alongside others while getting to share those stories has been the most magical thing. With every project & every person, there is a new opportunity to bring a unique voice & vision to life, while allowing me to see the world through a different lens.
