How to let go of needing to control the outcome. We have an illusion that things are under control⌠When, just like the stoics say, wisdom is understanding how to only control the things that are directly under your control, and how to let go of those things that are not under your control⌠And then the wisdom comes in understanding the difference. This story reminds me of that. I heard it a long, long time ago from Alan Watts. I just think itâs so special and so important to remember that when bad things happen, donât be so quick to label them as bad and and when âgoodâ things happen, Donât be so quick to get attached to how good things are⌠Because it just seems to me that life is always swinging a little bit left in a little bit, right⌠A little bit groovy, and a little bit woozy. I guess thatâs life- life is change and the only choice we have is are we going to resist or are we going to allow it because so much suffering comes when we resist. This is a part of a series of 30 things that have really helped me in my life. This was the fourth one. 26 more to come, if youâre enjoying these please share them check in here tomorrow for more
