Here are 5 of my favorite spots that opened up in Baltimore City this year & why! As always, I had to have visited at least twice and visited/paid on my own visit at least once without an invite. For this list, they had to have opened their space in 2024. ❤️ In order of appearance (Instagram): @yebokitchendmv @lovepomelorestaurant @atmamakokos @eatarepi @theurbanoyster Have you tried any of these? Also, what have been your new favorite restaurants in Baltimore or the DMV? #BaltimoreRestaurants #NewRestaurants #BaltimoreCity #CharmCityTable

Sharing some of *my personal favorites* this year, starting with sweets! These are NOT RANKED, but my favorite desserts in 2024 are: ✨ Peach cobbler and the peach iced tea snoball from @_icequeens! Not sure if the peach cobbler is only offered during the summer, but it’s a must-try! The texture of their ice keeps me coming back for the snoballs. (They also have an amazing SUGAR-FREE egg custard, btw.) ✨ Mini donuts from @deddles_donuts! Warm, melt-in-your-mouth, incredible. ✨ @sydneysicecreams offers both classic and creative ice cream flavors that taste AMAZING—easily rivaling some of the best ice cream spots in Baltimore. “Simone’s Cheesecake” (not available) was one of my favorites from our collaboration, but their Peaches n Biscuits, Raspberry Almond Cookie, and Butter Pecan flavors were all standouts. ✨ The snickerdoodles I tried at @teamshareef are, in my opinion, better than The Great Cookie. Also, the sweet potato cheese pie by Taa’ibs Pastries was incredible! ✨ Butter Cake at @keystonekorner is an absolute must whenever I visit this jazz club and restaurant. ✨ @tiasitalianice_md (closed until March) continues to be my go-to for Italian ice and Gelati in the area. I love the Tia’s Special and Juneteenth flavors, but honestly, it’s hard to go wrong. ✨ Mochi Donuts from @charmcity.poke.sushi at @crossstmarket. I had the churro-flavored ones hot and fresh during Sweet Tooth Saturday, and they were divine! ✨ Olive Oil Cake from @doppio_pasticceria. I’ve tried olive oil cake at a lot of restaurants and cafes over the years, and theirs is at the top of my list. Not too sweet, with lovely rotating fruit toppings—perfect with tea or espresso. ✨ Catch @beyebeignets at local farmers’ markets and pop-ups. (They reheat beautifully in the air fryer!) Also, add their beignet-making class at @thelachow to your 2025 to-do list—it’s such a fun experience! ✨ The cupcakes from @midnitecc are consistently next-level. They did a pumpkin one this past fall that I’m still dreaming about! What were some of your favorite sweet treats this year? #Desserts #BaltimoreRestaurants #CharmCityTable #SweetTreats

This hot, new Baltimore restaurant is serving a fully plant-based menu, mocktails, cocktails, and more: @barveganbmore I attended the grand opening, and first impressions were great! It’s the sister concept to @pinkycole’s @sluttyveganatl and it’s Bar Vegan’s second location (first one is in Atlanta). I loved the modern, elevated atmosphere with a DJ and found the menu options both approachable and delish. Here’s what we tasted: 🍹IM SOLO: A strawberry cocktail with tequila and Prosecco. It mostly tasted like Prosecco, and I couldn’t pick up much of the strawberry or tequila. 🍹STRAWBERRY BOURBON SMASH: My favorite cocktail of the evening! It’s pretty sweet, but try it if you like strawberries maple, lemon, and bourbon. 🍽️MAPLE GLAZED BRUSSEL SPROUTS: Lightly charred with a sweet maple glaze. 🍽️ONION RINGS: Perfectly crispy and served with a delicious “crab” sauce. Enjoyed this pairing! 🍽️STEAK FRIES: Classic, thick-cut fries. Solid and satisfying. 🍽️JERK KABOB: Grilled oyster mushrooms, peppers, pineapple in a sticky sauce. While not a traditional jerk flavor, it was very tasty. 🍽️ANGELA’S CAKES: pair their fried Oreos with @cajoucreamery’s Bourbon Pecan ice cream ✨ I also saw @richjuicebar, a local juice bar, has their apple pie cider and a green juice on the menu here! 💕 Prices- Starters: $12–$14 Mains: $16–$24 Cocktails: $16–$18 Mocktails: $7 Have you checked out this spot yet? If so, let us know what you think! #NewRestaurant #BaltimoreRestaurants #VeganBaltimore #BarVeganATL #BaltimorePeninsula #CharmCityTable #PlantBased #BlkFoodBaltimore

We had a wonderful evening at the unveiling of Winter Village Dine—a four-course dining experience on Four Seasons Baltimore’s 4th-floor rooftop terrace. ❄️✨ The heated, insulated cabins were both stunning and cozy, though I still recommend dressing warmly. We sipped Chandon USA and indulged in the prix fixe dinner, along with a few ✨add-ons✨. The menu will change monthly, and in February, they’ll feature a Valentine’s Day/Lady & the Tramp-inspired menu. 💕 Some of my favorite bites from the evening included: ✨ Shaved cured meats (Virginia ham) ✨ Foraged Mushrooms ✨ Rotisserie Lamb Shoulder ✨ Cedar Smoked Arctic Char ✨ Princess Cake While there were a few dishes I didn’t love, I truly thought this was an amazing experience overall. You can book a reservation or find more information on their website (linked on my events page in my bio). We had such a great time dining alongside some of our favorite Baltimore/DMV personalities, including @anniedemm, @megmcnamaratv, @thebaltimorefoodie, @stylishlytaylored, @theprimpysheep, and @chimaeats! Thank you for hosting such a gorgeous evening, Four Seasons Baltimore. 💕 #BaltimoreDining #LuxuryDining #WinterVillage #FourSeasons #CharmCityTable #DateNightIdea #GirlsNightIdea
