The best year of my life was also the hardest. The first week of 2024, my daughter was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect inutero. We fought like hell to make sure that when she was born she would have the best care & I am so glad we did. Once she was born the heart defect was much more serious than they had anticipated; surgery and recovery were hard, we spent 6 weeks living in a Ronald McDonald house (so so thankful for them), once she was released we had a lot of hurdles to overcome but life on the other side of that is so so beautiful. 2024 might not have been the most accomplished year for me but I came out on the other side stronger than ever. So thankful for everyone that walked with us during the scariest days of our lives. I hope the word to describe my 2025 is fun, because I’m ready for all the fun and adventure. #nicumom #ivfsuccess #chdwarrior #2024baby
