My first very informal conversation about the New York Times article that I helped out on last year as a source/subject/whatever you would call me haha. David Herbert was a fantastic investigator and author to work with and I think this is the start to huge change for cheer over the next few years. Cheerleading is such a huge topic in my life and I could literally talk for hours about it, but I want a more open dialogue! With the Netflix Cheer documentary, and all the scandals since, cheer got a lot of exposure that has not equated to much change in the sport. I don’t want the conversation to die down and so if anyone has never heard of this article, PLEASE go read it. If you have and have questions, please ask!! There’s so much to talk about and I would love to hear opinions :) There was A LOT of my story that was left out so maybe I can shed light on even more! ALSO, if you don’t like reading, it has an audiobook reading of it by a great narrator!
