Full recipe below for this Low-Sugar Cherry Vanilla Latte! 🍒☕ ✨My glasses, blender, or coffee machine I used to make this drink is linked in my profile! ✨Low Sugar Cherry Sauce✨ Ingredients: ✨2 cups frozen cherries ✨1/2 cup water ✨1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract ✨1/4 cup allulose (adjust to taste) can use coconut sugar or regular sugar here 🍒Note: I always use allulose for low-sugar syrups because it won’t crystallize in the fridge. If you use monk fruit, the sauce may start to crystallize after a few days. Instructions: Cook the cherries – In a small saucepan over medium heat, add the frozen cherries, water, and allulose. Simmer – Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for about 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cherries soften and release their juices. Remove from the heat and add in the vanilla extract. Blend – Use an immersion blender directly in the pot or transfer the mixture to a blender and blend until smooth. Adjust consistency – If the sauce is too thick, add a little more water until it reaches your desired consistency. 🍒Cherry Vanilla Latte🍒 2-3 tbsp cherry sauce (see recipe above) 1-2 shots espresso 3 tbsp milk of choice (almond, coconut, or regular milk) 2 tbsp heavy cream (regular or dairy-free) ¼ tsp vanilla extract (optional, for extra flavor) Instructions: Brew the espresso – Prepare 1-2 shots of espresso using a Nespresso, espresso machine, or strong brewed coffee. Froth- Froth the milk, cream and vanilla extract using a milk frother or whisk until slightly foamy. Assemble the latte – Fill a glass with ice and then pour in the cherry sauce, followed by the espresso and milk mixture. Stir well to combine. Top & enjoy – Optional: Garnish with an extra drizzle of cherry sauce or a sprinkle of cinnamon.
