Did you know there is a FREE Enchanted Forest for kids in Schaumburg, IL? 📖✨ 📍 130 S Roselle Road, Schaumburg, Illinois The Schaumburg Public Library was the library that I grew up going to, so taking my kids here is even more magical! While this library has been updated a lot since I was a child, it still has so much to offer kids for FREE! From an adorable & magical enchanted forest featuring classic children’s books to a large area for imaginative play, building, and exploring, this library has it all. For older kids, there is an area to check out STEAM Kits as well as computers packed with educational games & activities. We love the large play space, especially perfect for indoor activities during the colder months in Chicagoland. For a limited time, you can also find an exhibit of classic arcade games that are free to play! I can’t help but laugh when I see people judging stay-at-home moms—especially when it’s coming from people who don’t even have kids. It’s like they’re handing out unsolicited opinions on a life they’ve never lived, as if raising tiny humans isn’t a full-time, all-consuming job. Being a stay-at-home mom isn’t about sitting around all day. It’s about endless schedules, constant multitasking, and trying to shape decent little people while keeping the house in order and your sanity intact. The irony is, the loudest critics often have no clue what that responsibility actually feels like. It’s easy to have opinions when you’re on the outside looking in, but until someone’s walked in those shoes—at 2 a.m., with a crying baby on one hip and a mountain of laundry waiting—they really don’t have a leg to stand on. #onthisday #stfu #stayathomemom #chicagomom #chicagoparent

The best spot for upscale BBQ in Chicago is Chicago Q 🔥AD 📍 1160 N Dearborn Street, Chicago, Illinois 🍴 Upscale Dining 👧🏼 Kid’s Menu Available 🛍️ Dine-in, carry-out, & delivery With a cozy comfy atmosphere to the perfectly smoked meats, this spot is a Gold Coast gem that not enough people are talking about! From the burnt ends to the massive carrot cake, all of the recommendations from our server were DELISH! All of the meat is smoked in-house (THIS MATTERS!) and the dishes are made with the highest quality ingredients. Southern charm and hospitality is evident in the atmosphere, and I can’t wait for an excuse to head back this summer to dine alfresco! This restaurant was very kid-friendly as well which is a huge bonus for our family!
