This ultra healing chicken broth is SO great for winter illness, smoke exposure from wildfires, ans/or if you’re like me and you have a surgery recovery in the future. All these ingredients offer so many great nutrients that help lower inflammation and keep you hydrated! When ready…just heat this up, add some salt and pepper to taste, sip and enjoy! This recipe makes a massive batch so adjust to your liking, you really can’t go wrong! You just throw it all in a pot and simmer! Ingredients: - 1 whole chicken carcass (I made a roasted chicken for dinner and saved all the bones and skin) - 3 whole chicken legs - A bunch of chicken feet (can find at your local butcher or in the freezer section) - 1 whole onion cut in half, leave the layers on! - 1 whole bunch of carrots - 1 whole bunch of celery - 1 whole bunch of celery tops - A bunch of whole ginger - Like 7 cloves of garlic skin and all - 3 tsp of turmeric - 6 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar - 3 tsp of salt - Cover with filtered water Put all ingredients into a big stock pot, bring to a boil, let simmer for 4-24 hours. The longer it simmers I hear the more nutrients you get out of it but who f*%kin knows. lol!! Then strain, pour into mason jars!
