CHRISHABANA BEST OF 2024 Some of our favorite moments this year include the custom CHRISHABANA designs worn by musician @BOOZEY We had the pleasure of collaborating with our friend and stylist @Neoncomplex, who brought us on to elevate Shaboozey’s GQ Man of the Year Awards look with crystal embellishments and leather framing, as well as to create a stunning leather patchwork cape for his SNL debut. For Shaboozey’s Christmas Day NFL Halftime Performance with @Beyonce, our team designed a fully finished floor-length leather and fur coat, meticulously crafted through hand, machine, and whip stitching details. Cannot thank @Neoncomplex enough for being so thoughtful and gracious with our team — it’s always a pleasure to work with you! CHRISHABANA BEST OF 2024 It’s always a thrilling challenge when @brettalannelson calls us to create for the legendary @Doja Cat For Doja’s collaboration with Brisk, creative director Chris Habana ventured into new territory, crafting a full wearable oversized helmet for the first time. We worked with @carolindieler to engineer the fit and functionality, 3D-modeling an oversized version of Doja’s claymation head. @decalcify23 airbrushed it to perfection, and our team hand-painted and padded the interior for comfort. CHRISHABANA BEST OF 2024 Two of the most experimental moments this year for Creative Director Chris Habana involved pushing boundaries with electronic elements in our designs, worn by the incredible @Doechii and Ru Pauls Drag Race All Star @Alyssa Edwards For Doechii’s VMAs performance with Katy Perry, the team smashed and reconstructed motherboards, keyboards, and LED lights, stitching them onto a custom-printed circuit board base For Alyssa Edwards took it even further, challenging us to create a futuristic design for her secret spy episode on Ru Pauls Drag Race All Stars 8. We created a scrolling LED-lit ensemble featuring a plastic trench coat, bodysuit, briefcase, and eyepatch. We worked with @WillyChavarriaNewYork to create oversized silk faille and satin flowers—roses, lilies, poppies, and bluebonnets—that adorned the looks he designed for Colman Domingo, Leon Bridges, Morgan Spector, Marc Metrick, and Willy himself. The CHRISHABANA x @Dirtypineapple_dp “You’re Never Alone” knuckledusters also made a statement on @ErykahBadu. A highlight of the night was designing a full clock-themed ensemble for @Sabrinaharrison____’s Met Gala debut, working with @wtfareuwearing & @Luxurylaw .
