Isaiah 43:1-2 Isaiah is prophetically talking about the death of Yahushuah, the firstborn son of God. In order to understand what Isaiah wrote, you have to understand what the Egyptians and the Canaanites believed about the realm of the dead. Sadly, pastors and Hebrew Israelites can’t show you this because they have been blinded by the lies of Satan. So I’ll show you and I know that is a preposterous statement that some will cause some to be offended. The first part of Isaiah’s prophetic utterance: “But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.” It is talking about the fact that Israel, God’s only firstborn son, since you cannot have two, is the man that God created in his image and likeness. This happened when God raised Christ from the dead at his resurrection. That is why Isaiah says what he says in the next verse: “When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.” Isaiah is mocking the Egyptians and the Canaanites belief of death and resurrection in this statement but he is also providing information about Israel, the firstborn son of God. You see, the Egyptians believed that before the Pharaoh, the firstborn son of the false god Osiris, could attain his resurrection, Pharaoh had to pass through the waters, that is the river which is also called the sea of reeds not the Red Sea. And the Canaanites believed that if they sacrificed a pure seed and cause that seed to pass through the fire, through that seed they could attain the resurrection because they were “ONE” with that seed. The seed would pass through the fires of El and attain the resurrection. All of this is parabolic imagery that talks about the death and resurrection of the Messiah. You pastors don’t know this because they have been taken in by the lies of Satan via their desire to please their flesh.
