👉🏽 “I started drinking alcohol, using drugs, and getting arrested when I was 12 years old. I began a cycle of juvenile detention centers. I went to prison for the first time at age 19. I didn’t know anything about Christ. I’m not sure if I even believed in God. My drug use and criminality continued to grow throughout the years. When I was 28 years old, I went to a movie called the “Exorcism of Emily Rose.” I went there for the horror, and I began to experience the presence of God. It shook me so deeply that I went outside, crying my eyes out. The next day I got picked up on a felony warrant. When I got to the jail, I did something that I had never done, I asked for a Bible. I had been arrested about 30 times at this point in my life with three prison sentences under my belt. I began to study the scriptures, looking for answers. Two weeks later while I was in jail, I was invited to a church service. I went to the church service, and I heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ for the first time. When I heard that Good News, it touched my heart. When they had an altar call at the end of the service, I went forward and truly repented and put my faith and trust in Christ and I was never the same. When I got out of prison, my life got a whole lot worse before it got better. I ended up homeless on the street panhandling and begging for change. Before I knew it, I was back in prison for a fifth time. This final time I picked my Bible back up and when I got out, I tried something different, I got connected to a local church. I became an intern in a church and started a prison ministry within the church. I became a pastor there. We created a thriving prison ministry all around the state of Indiana “Behind the Wire Ministries.” I wrote a book called “Behind the Wire a Prisoners Journey to the Pulpit,” and we use it as a resource to help people in destructive lifestyles. A faith-based got a hold of my book and they produced the feature film about my life, called “Pardoned by Grace,” starring Michael W Smith.” 👉🏽 $10 a month will bring Revival to Prisons!
