1 Corinthians 13 shows us what godly love looks like: Love endures with patience and serenity. Love is kind and thoughtful. Love is not jealous or envious. Love does not brag and is not proud or arrogant. Love is not rude and it is not self-seeking. Love is not provoked [nor overly sensitive and easily angered]. Love keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not rejoice at injustice, but rejoices with the truth [when right and truth prevail]. Love bears all things [regardless of what comes], believes all things [looking for the best in each one], hopes all things [remaining steadfast during difficult times], endures all things [without weakening]. Love never fails [it never fades nor ends]. As Christians, we are not called to date and have relationships like mainstream culture. No no, we need to be intentional about who we are in relationship with as God calls us to be purpose driven. Love is not forced, but it is a choice that we have to make every day in choosing to love God, ourselves, and others. I encourage you to learn how to be rooted in love in all that you do, as that will flow into every area of your life and you will bear much fruit. 🤍
