This additional anatomic finding made his cleft lip repair much more challenging!!!) Watch to see him BEFORE his cleft lip repair. It is so important for parents to try and be patient with the healing process. The scars are often very pink and firm for at least 4 months, and then they usually finally start to soften and fade!
