Cleveland Rocks Aka CR ❤️ 24 years young and still got it! Cr has fecal water syndrome and has had it for several years. His owner was riding him today in our indoor and decided to see if he remembered any of his training from when he was a 5yr old. Before I get remarks about how I’m letting him explore this child the way he is, I’ve raised and trained this horse since the moment he hit the ground. Not only that, I’m the only person/animal that has any physical interaction with him unless I give him the means to do so since he was 7months old. He goes into a personal field by himself everyday. He has horses around him at all times so he is not isolated at all. The only thing separating him from other horses is a thin wall. He also has mares across from his stall he can see. I know this horse inside and out. As I should, Im his owner and handler. You can actually see the way I’m concentrating on watching his body language. Iroh and I are very in tune with eat other. I feel that he could feel my tense stare in this moment. The line is loose but I’m constantly watching his movements. I wouldn’t let him do something if I felt he was going to be dangerous. Iroh is a good boy. He is still young though has a lot of room for mistakes. You can’t expect these animals to be 100% perfect all the time either. You have to let them make mistakes so you can show them that is not the way. Then show them the better way.
