Swipe on the beat The Crescent Hotel is a beautiful, historic hotel in the Ozarks of Arkansas. With stories of mystical healing springs, the entirety of Eureka Springs has an awesome vibe to it The Crescent is built on Crescent Mountain, which if you subscribe to stonetape theory, may give an explanation for why this spot is so haunted. Serving as a hotel, college, & even a hospital- the history of this location is amazing Today, the Crescent is a luxury hotel, offering fantastic food, spa services, beautiful rooms, ghost tours, outdoor activities & more. This is one of my all time favorite locations Have you ever been to the @1886 Crescent Hotel ? #paranormal #hauntedplaces #travel #crescenthotel #eurekaspringsarkansas #arkansas #haunted #paranormalinvestigator #ghosthunter #hauntednights #samandcolby #xplr #history
2 books. 2 monsters. One was a medical doctor, the other was in the "business" of medicine. Both used the trust and desperation of their victims to hurt them in the pursuit of profit. ☠️ H. H. Holmes. He used his knowledge of medicine and surgical procedure to end the lives of multiple people against the backdrop of the 1893 World's Fair in Chicago. This book is a rare first edition copy from 1896 detailing his crimes against the Pitezel family that resulted in the deaths of 3 children and his business partner, Benjamin Pitezel. This crime would be the one that would send Holmes to the gallows. The book features witness testimony, court records, and numerous photographs of Holmes' victims. 💀 Norman Baker. A former mentalist turned radio personality, Baker would use his voice to peddle quack cancer cures to desperate people across the United States during the Great Depression. He would go on to amass millions of dollars from his schemes and open the infamous Baker Hospital in The Crescent Hotel high above the Ozarks in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. This is a rare 1936 edition of his self-published biography. 📚 Both of these books are for sale in my shop.
