The Son of God became man, so men could become Sons of God
#CSLewis. Over 2,000 years ago, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, left the glory of heaven to live a human existence among us. Why? To forever bridge the gap between humanity and God. Sin had created a chasm too wide for us to cross, but God’s love was too deep to abandon us. So He came, not in power or riches, but as a humble baby in a manger. Jesus lived a life dedicated to helping others, died on the cross serving humanity, broke the chains that bound us, and rose again so that we could become children of God, adopted into HIS family through grace. This is what Christmas is truly about—the moment pure love came down to save us. It’s a reminder that we are never alone, never forgotten, and never beyond the grasp of God’s love. As we exchange gifts and gather with loved ones, let’s remember the greatest gift ever given: Emmanuel—God with us. Jesus’s birth changed everything, and because of Him, we have hope, purpose, and life eternal. This Christmas, SMILE and celebrate the incredible miracle of Jesus’s coming and what it meant for humanity.
