Here’s how I gave my MacBook a much-needed refresh to kick off the new year 💻💕 If your tech needs a little makeover too, here’s exactly what I did step by step: 💻 Customize Appearance Settings Go to System Settings > Appearance - I like the light setting and accent color: Pink 💕 🪩 Set a New Wallpaper I designed a fun wallpaper with a built-in calendar. You can grab it from my freebie library if you want one too! 💝 👩🏻‍💻 Update Your Profile Picture Switch out that default pic by going to System Settings > Users & Groups > Profile Picture. I chose my Memoji for a little personality—it even animates on the lock screen! 💖 Weirdly feels like little me even when regular me is off the clock 😂 📂 Organize Desktop Files & Customize Folders Declutter your desktop and personalize your folders: 🖤Right-click the folder > Get Info 🖤Copy an image with a transparent background and paste it onto the folder icon 🎀✨ You have to use keyboard shortcuts CTRL+C & CTRL+V for this fyi ✔️ Add a To-Do List Widget Keep your tasks front and center by adding a to-do list widget. This is technically the reminders app widget and you can connect any reminders list 🌸 🖱️ Change Cursor Color Go to System Settings > Accessibility > Display > Pointer Section and customize your cursor and outline colors. I matched mine to the pink theme! 💕✨ This little refresh has me feeling ✨ready✨ to actually get things done.
