Testimony Time. This year has been a rollercoaster ride🎢 Started the year off with an uncertaintity of how the year would go because they found 2 new lumps in my breast and were not sure if it was cancer. BUT after a year of multiple doctor appointments, biopsies,MRIs and finally a surgery to remove one of the areas; I am able to end the year with good news that I DON’T have cancer. Due to my doctor being in Los Angeles but living in Atlanta for my PhD program I had to make the tough decision to withdraw from the semester due to having to fly back and forth. This also meant having to take and unpaid leave. While all of this was going on I also lost both of my grandpas 3 weeks apart. This time was rough and everything seemed uncertain and started to cause me to doubt what God promised to do. With the support of my family and spiritual family I was able to still trust that God would turn my situation. I didn’t give up on my faith and kept trusting God. Through the process He showed me that all I had to do was Be Still and know that He is God. Although the past few months I haven’t been able to work He still made away for my rent and all my bills to be paid, go to Kenya for a mission trip and still enjoy life. I don’t know what you may be going through but just know that God is faithful and He will always be with you in the storm.
