It may not be the most impressive or lofty of goals, but I’m proud of myself for exceeding my step goal every. single. day. without fail for a full year! As someone who’s worked from home for several years now, I noticed that I had settled into a sedentary lifestyle and barely moved at all most workdays. By committing myself to a challenging but not completely unrealistic daily step goal, I’ve completely transformed my behaviors and now make sure I’m up and walking throughout the entire day. Making it a priority to get my steps in each and every day no matter what  — and sometimes going to ridiculous lengths to make it happen — was crucial to reaching this one-year milestone, as otherwise I would have only met my goal a handful of days. Day 13: Water Goals & Accountability Wins! 💦✨ Started the day strong with my Seed, followed by Hibiscus Lemonade ketones and Passionfruit electrolytes—the perfect combo to fuel my morning! 🌿🍋🌸 Lunch was a favorite: banana egg waffles topped with fresh berries 🍓🫐 and paired with pan-fried chicken sausage. So satisfying! Afternoon snack brought the usual suspects: Papaya Paradise ketones, nuts, and my trusty sugar-free beef stick. 🌴🥜 Dinner was cozy and simple—leftover chili (still skipping the sour cream and cheese!) with a side of apple slices 🍎. Thought I was done for the night with my magnesium and protein drink, but accountability with friends had other plans! Ended up outside crushing my last 3,000 steps in 17-degree temps, keeping an eye out for black ice the whole time—thankfully, none was around! 🥶 Lesson learned: I’ll plan better because that was a bit much! 😂 Tomorrow is a new day, and we’re switching things up a bit to accommodate our schedule. Started the morning strong with pineapple passionfruit ketones 🍍 and followed it up with passionfruit electrolytes for that extra hydration boost. And, of course, had my Seed supplement because gut health is everything! 🍴 Lunch: Protein oats mixed with water and stacked with peanut butter protein powder, topped with fresh fruit. 🍓🍌 I haven’t had oatmeal in over 5 years, and let me tell you... I WILL be having it again! 😍 🥜 Afternoon snack: The usual—peanuts, a sugar-free beef stick, and papaya paradise ketones. These are my everyday afternoon pick-me-up, giving me the energy, mood boost, and appetite control I need to power through the second half of my day! 💪 🍲 Dinner: Chili night! 🌶️ Made with dark and light kidney beans, doubled up the meat, and added corn for a sweet twist. 🌽 Fun fact: This was the first time in probably 30 years that I didn’t add sour cream or cheese to my chili. Making some big changes, and honestly, I’m good with them! Finished the day strong with my steps—7,500 was the goal, and I crushed it! Ended my night with magnesium and my protein shake. A productive day sets the tone for an even better week ahead! Tomorrow is Monday, and I have an official weigh-in and body scan.
