We ate in awe, in total silence. 🤤 — I’ve been driving past this hidden gem in Plano, TX, for far too long and finally gave it a try. I’m really kicking myself for how long it took me to eat here because, man, I haven’t been this excited about a place in a long time. Everything from the pupusas to the tortillas is handmade, and you can tell. The minute I walked in, I was mesmerized by the hardworking women crafting the pupusas in the kitchen. My fiancé and I ordered a variety of pupusas and tacos, and they were divine. I ordered the chicharrón and revueltas pupusas, as well as the lengua and barbacoa tacos in handmade tortillas. Unfortunately, they didn’t have loroco that day (which is typically my favorite—it’s a Salvadoran flower). The pupusas were served piping hot, so eat with caution, but they literally oozed with melted cheese and were dangerously addictive. The pupusa dough was pillowy soft and paired wonderfully with their acidic and spicy hot sauces. The lengua was one of the juiciest I’ve had while still maintaining a nice bite. The handmade tortilla-to-generous-meat ratio was perfection. Don’t be like me and miss out on this small biz hidden gem.
