The army Black Hawk helicopter consisted of a crew of 3, a pilot, co-pilot, and crew chief. __________________________________ Andrew Eaves was identified as 1 of 2 pilots. He was a Mississippi man and leaves behind his wife and two kids. Ryan O’Hara was the crew chief, a husband and new father to a 1-year-old son. The 3rd member has yet to be identified. __________________________________ As the talk of DEI has arisen in the conversation surrounding the devastating incident, the Army made it clear that all crew members were “very experienced”. They noted that they had hundreds to thousands of hours of flight time, which is a lot for helicopters that aren’t in the air long.
