As my tears roll down my face…. I painfully remember this day. My child was honored with a mass at St Paul by her entire school. The school even closed the day she was buried (Friday March 1, 2024). This is too painful to remember and too painful too sometimes keep going. She was the light of my life… her family’s light… her sisters light… she was Alexis Felix. An incredible, amazing, nice, friendly, genuine 16 year old girl that had so much eagerness to live and to be happy. All she wanted was to attend UCLA and become an actress and be famous one day. She loved school and she loved her St. Paul friends so much, oh and her teacher Ms. Jimenez 🫶🏻. Alexis was pure. She was close to God and a very well mannered girl who loved to be silly and watch Stranger Things as she learned every Melanie Martinez song. Alexis, I miss you SO MUCH and I can’t wait to be with you anymore. I count my days here on earth. I pray God takes me to be with you already… because everyone keeps telling me youre in a better place now. I cant wait to spend my forever with you… in this “better place”….
