Prepping for another desert race. This one will be a 2 day dry camping trip and we were NOT prepared so lots of last minute tedious chores to do. Why weren't we prepared? We love going to do these events because it's a family affair BUT Davys suspension was getting serviced, forests stacyc was at the shop, and Ford's new piston wouldn't be here til the following weekend. But then all the dirt bike angels came together and got the bikes fixed by Thursday 😄. Ain't that the way the world goes round. Forest is a cup-half-empty kind of kid so he likes to fill his cup up with a quick morning ride on his Stacyc. Hes usually the 1st one of the kids up and being the youngest of 4, I think he appreciates this alone time. (The sound of the electric motor whining is usually the older 3's morning alarm clock.) If you want to get your kid ahead of the game with bike riding, then you gotta get a Strider. (NOT SPONSORED) I still remember the 1st time we saw a Strider bike. Oct of 2015, we were at Chaparral Motor Sports and saw the cutest little bike ever! 😚🐰🐻😊😍 Ford was an only child at the time, so we definitely impulse bought a lot of stuff 🙈. But this was one item we'd never regret. Everywhere we went, people stopped us to ask what in the world that thing was and were blown away that our 2-year-old had such skill. (I'm sure you know that proud feeling when other people compliment your child.
