JK! 🤭🫣 I would never. but what were your initial thoughts when you read this? Did it make you feel like you needed to cut out caffeine too? Or did you trust your gut and know that doing what works for you is best? Look how easily social media posts can influence us so quickly - and there is a lot of this happening right now with it being the new year. so far I’ve seen a lot of “zero calorie snacks” and “foods to cut out,” etc. But if you ever find yourself wanting to roll your eyes or second guessing these posts.. this is your intuition and you should go with it. I always tell my clients, “you question it for a reason!” while I won’t be cutting out caffeine, here ARE some things I am doing to help with healthy caffeine consumption: ☕️ 10oz coffee a day - this is a sweet spot for me. I love my coffee but any more than this can make me feel anxious! ☕️ organic coffee - did you know it’s one of the most highly pesticide sprayed crops in the world, alongside cotton? ☕️ cut off at 12pm or it negative effects my sleep! ☕️ water, supplements and a snack first - putting other things in my body before caffeine can help lower my cortisol which is normally heightened when we wake up in the morning, and helps to better absorb the caffeine, while getting ahead on hydration for the day! was this helpful?! what else do you want to learn more about?!
