The last ride on the red car trolley at Disneyland was today. This was a day to remember on Disney California Adventure Park's birthday, this historical ride stops its operation. It is going away for good, making way for the new Avengers Campus development. Mickey and Minnie always comes out at the end of the night to say goodbye to guests on the last ride. Then the CM that worked on this ride for years came to say good bye, some cried! And then we followed the car to go back stage. And to my surprise, it goes right into the Avengers Building. Yes, see where it goes. Mind blowing. No wonder they can't keep the red car trolley. The new Avengers ride is going to be right inside this building. Lunar New Year Fireworks Is Back At Disneyland. You can only find this at World of Color one pre-Show for the 9pm show time only. The fireworks part not every day, this may depend on the management and the weather. This is Hurry Home- a lunar New year celebration pre-Show before World of a color one show inside Disney Calufornia Adventure Park. You can try to get virtual queue but it is not needed. Lion Dance at Disneyland for Lunar New year Festival. This is at Disney's grand Californian Hotel on Mostly Tuesdays: 28th, 4th, 7th. This is really fun and carefully crafted performance by the group Kaimira, or Dragon Cowboys for the Linon Dance. This is the most popular Lion eating Cabbage show. Usually real cabbage or bak choy 🥬 is used in the performance because the words in Cantonese sounds like the words "super fortune" or receiving fortune. Here they are using a plushie Bok Choy as a replacement which makes it super cute! The Lion is symbolically eating fortune for the new year! 😋 And to top it off, after the lion eats the cabbage, he would shred it into pieces and throw it out into the audience as a form of sharing the fortune and good luck. (They don't want to cause a mess at disneyland, so that part is skipped), and after that the audience and the boss of the place would feed the lion red Envelopes filled with money or blessings.😂 Lion dance is used for all occasions especially New year to ward off evil spirits and welcome good fortune and positive energy. The place of the lion dance is blessed with good fengshui and Positive Energy. This is also used in weddings, business openings, birthdays and House warming parties. In this performance, they also did Drunken Lion which i will show in my stories. This is a must see event for Lunar New year at Disneyland! Ride the Red Car Trolley at Disneyland Before it goes away on Feb 8th 2025. Yes, it is going away for good, making way for the new Avengers Campus development. Mickey and Minnie always comes out at the end of the night to say goodbye to guests on the red car trolley. But for them to ride with you is very rare. It happens once a day not every day at random times. The CM promised that they will be doing more of this special experience as the Ride is closing soon. CM even allowed us to do take turns to take photos with the characters at the end of the Ride. Mickey and Minnie are each on a separate trolley. You might have to get off and get on another one and hopefully to catch them. The trolley will be parked outside for photo ops in the future but guests will not be allowed on for rides after the 8th.
