Read our story below š¶āØ When I started our social media back in 2020 (only on IG at the time), my goal was simple: share the joys and struggles of being a first-time dog mom. I started posting cute tricks I taught Ayce to inspire other dog parents to bond with their pups through training. Soon enough, we got so many requests to create tutorials, so we finally took the plunge and started making them in early 2023! I never expected this account would turn into something that could bring in income, but here we are! Before I knew it, brands started reaching out. Iām so grateful everyday that I can continue to keep creating helpful content for dog parents while partnering with awesome companies. So if you are here hoping to maybe make a little bit of extra cash, here is proof that authentically posting content that brings you happiness with your dog is all you need! Hereās are a few tips that can hopefully help: 1. Start where you are. We had zero followers when we started (just like everyone else) and stayed at 12K for THREE years before finding our niche. Then, it all came together naturally once we found our audience. 2. Affiliate marketing is key. A lot of our income comes from affiliate partnerships (like Amazon Influencers), and you donāt need a huge following to get started. 3. Post what makes you happy. You donāt need to follow trends to grow. Stay authentic, and your community will find you! 4. Build relationships with brands. When you invest in genuine partnerships and post about products you love without pay, paid collaborations follow. 5. Donāt be afraid to charge what youāre worth. Brands sometimes pay way more than you expect, so trust your value! Comment below your questions and Iāll try my best to answer! Big thanks to @Pacha and Bucket the Goldens for inspiring us to share our pay transparency! š¾
