Black people need to stay alert and aware of what's happening around us. We must let go of the mindset that just because something hasn’t happened to us personally, or because we haven’t experienced racism directly, it doesn’t mean it can’t or won’t happen to us. We also need to recognize the dangerous game some other groups play by adopting the "enemies of my enemies are my friends" mentality, and understand that if we don’t have each other’s backs, no one else will. Many take pleasure in the division within our community—that’s why they feel emboldened to mistreat us. For example, women from other races are increasingly vocal about their disdain for Blackness, fueling situations that put us in difficult and damaging positions. This boldness stems from a false sense of power, leading to outright discrimination, such as banning us from spaces we’ve frequented for years. Now, it’s on us to respond strategically. We must hold these companies and corporations accountable through major lawsuits. Places like Starbucks, or any establishment lacking Black representation in their workforce, create environments that allow blatant racism to flourish. If we don’t take action, they’ll continue to treat us this way. We must stand united to show them that this behavior will not be tolerated. Together, we can demand respect and bring about real change. #whoizcontroversy #kingnathan126 #fyp #chooseone #godisgood #godisincontrol #donttrustthem
