Have you done the whole TN Riverwalk? ๐ญ we love riding bikes here, especially in the spring when everything is blooming! ๐ณ๐ธ๐ฒ ๐The Tennessee Riverwalk is a paved pedestrian-only path where you can run, bike, and walk along the Tennessee River in downtown Chattanooga Last time I posted this, many people asked how long the riverwalk actually is but idk the ~exact mileage~ due to additional segments over the years. Everything online says something different. I believe the main segment is 11ish miles from the base of the Incline to the Chickamauga Dam. We did this entire section last fall & it was awesome ๐๐ผ You can add other sections like the South Chickamauga Greenway for another 12 miles or so~ ๐ACCESS: - thereโs several bike rental stations through the city, from the Incline Railway at the base of Lookout Mountain to the Riverpark on Amnicola Highway. or just bring your own! - you can rent bikes for $10/ day if visiting, or get a local annual pass for $50! the e-bike rentals are the most fun ๐โก๏ธ - thereโs several trailheads with free parking, you can find a map online! - you can easily connect to other areas downtown, like the Walnut Street Bridge & Coolidge Park from the Riverwalk and find local restaurants & shops nearby - along the paved path, youโll find outdoor art sculptures, picnic tables, green spaces, play areas, fishing piers, boat ramps, and more โจ itโs one of our favorite ways to exercise & explore the city ๐๐ผ
