Drop Biscuits Just because New Years resolutions are in full gear doesn’t mean the craving for a good biscuit doesn’t just stop. That’s why I love using @Lindsey Braham gluten free all purpose flour. It’s made with better ingredients, making it a better option to stay on track for your New Year's resolution. Ingredients Biscuits 2 ¼ cups XO Baking All Purpose Flour 8 tbsp butter, cold 1 ¼ tsp kosher salt 1 tbsp sugar (sub coconut sugar) ½ tsp baking soda 1 tbsp baking powder 1 ½ cups buttermilk Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Brush 9" cast iron skillet or 7x10 baking dish with 1 tbsp butter. If using DF milk Whisk together the oat milk & vinegar to create buttermilk. Add all of the dry ingredients to a bowl & mix until well combined. Cut in the butter until pea size crumbs. Stir in the buttermilk, mix until just combined. Be careful not to over mix. Mixture will be slightly crumbly. Place in the freezer for 20 mins. Remove, use a large ice cream scoop, scoop 6 large biscuits into the baking dish, bake for 20 minutes. Remove and enjoy!
