I work nights delivering for Uber Eats so I can continue to help run the rescue. The number of homeless, roaming, and abandoned dogs I see each night in San Antonio is heartbreaking—I wish I could save them all. This sweet boy was one I just couldn’t leave behind. He was dumped right in front of me and ended up in a McDonald’s parking lot, barking at cars in the drive-thru, frantically searching for his ‘person.’ He kept darting across a busy road, and it was only a matter of time before he got hit. Our rescue is already at full capacity, and we didn’t have space for such a large puppy, but I couldn’t turn my back on him. Texas needs to do better. Pet owners must be held accountable and take responsibility for their animals. Got them groomed found a rescue to take them@Starts With One Today but Myka was pregnant and not able to fly. Terminating her pregnacy was not an option . So Mason went to Canada and my wonderful daughter @A P R I L 💌 took Myka and is doing a great job caring for her and her babies. It scares me to think that these babies could have ended up in the wrong hands.
