Yep, I swept all that drama under the rug awhile ago.
#elysemyers Full story: In mid-2022, when I just started making script posters, I made a poster of Elyse made up of the words to a bunch of her Tiktoks because I admired who she was and the messages she gave her in videos. (My wife totally supported this by the way.) I sent the original to her PO Box hoping she'd unbox it in a video. Six months go by and I figure I'm never gonna hear a response so I made a video talking about it. Elyse commented on it screaming that she did receive it, it was hanging in her office, and it made her tear up. She also said she did have a video reaction and she'd post it. Well, my video sorta blew up and literally hundreds of people were tagging her demanding she talk about it. A few weeks later, Elyse made a Tiktok where she indirectly talks about me and my poster and how people kept demanding things from her and it made her uncomfortable. Her fans quickly found me and flooded my videos with hate comments demanding an apology. Several people made stitches breaking down my video and saying how I was manipulative. I responded to the backlash, but all the while insisting that Elyse did nothing wrong and it was just her fans who caused the drama. But I later realized that Elyse did absolutely nothing to stop people from attacking me and was even liking and responding to some of the hate comments. I sent her another one of my posters (one for The Office) just as an apology for all the drama. Within a week of sending it, I was blocked. Eventually I realized I spent so much energy defending Elyse but all she did was throw me under the bus, so I took down all the videos about the poster and unfollowed her everywhere else. I've mostly forgotten about her, but the design of her is by far the rarest poster of mine since she and I are the only ones who own a print. So there's my secret, Tiktok.
