In honor of my 33rd birthday, I give you 33 life lessons. As a coach I always want to go first, make mistakes, and get messy so you don’t have to.  11. Working hard is great for creating more success. But so is making time for joy.  12. Stop fighting the ups and downs. Throw your hands up and enjoy the ride.  13. Your conscious thoughts have far less impact than your subconscious beliefs. Heal your trauma if you want to make real change.  14. When you learn how to calm your central nervous system, life becomes a LOT easier. 15. The quick fix never works. Not in health, not in business, not in love. Do the work. 16. People are in your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. Whatever the situation, it’s ok. 17. It really is the little things.  18. The biggest wounds often launch the most powerful healing.  19. Stop ‘shoulding’ on yourself.  20. Even if you live in a studio apartment. Throw the party.  21. Faking confidence really does help build your confidence.  22. Stop rushing. Everything is happening in divine timing.  23. The clothes you wear have a big impact on how you move through the world. Go shopping every once in a while.  24. When you’re really stuck, hire people who know more than you to help. 25. Investing in your health is never a bad idea. 26. Track your finances. And yes, invest. 27. You are the main character in your life, act like it. 28. If you’re really clear about what you want, the universe usually finds a way of getting it to you.  29. Sometimes you need more rest, stop fighting it.  30. When your brain is noisy, drop into your body.  31. You don’t have to be perfectly ‘healed’ to be in a relationship. A lot of healing happens within a healthy relationship.  32. Ask for what you want. In your friendships, in business, in the doctor’s office, in restaurants, and yes, in bed.  33. The same force that brought you every good thing in your life is at work all the time.
