Shelter Safeguard Program 🐶🐱🐰❤️ If you or someone you know is working or volunteering at a shelter and spot an animal with a tattoo or tag on their ear like the examples in these photos, it’s likely they’re a survivor from an animal testing lab. These special souls have unique needs and require expert care. If you encounter one, please contact us immediately — BFP is here to provide the support and guidance these animals deserve. We have a network of pre-approved foster and adoptive homes across the U.S. that are trained and ready to give these special animals the love and support that they need. We also have a free downloadable poster with this information that you can print out and bring to your local shelters and veterinary offices. You can find it at bfp.org on the “Shelter Safeguard Program” page. Thanks for caring! Let's work together to give these resilient animals the second chance they deserve. ❤️🐾 #BeagleFreedom #AnimalRescue #EndAnimalTesting #SpecialNeedsPets #AdoptDontShop #CrueltyFree #AnimalShelters #DogLovers #CatLovers #bunniesoftiktok #fyp

Imagine being bred into a life of harm? Animal testing is literally that. #endanimaltesting #crueltyfree #dogmom #animalfact #beagle
Did you know that approximately 65,000 dogs and 30,000 cats are used in harmful experimentation each year in testing laboratories across the U.S.?🐶🐱💔 Every day, these innocent animals endure painful, invasive, inhumane and unnecessary testing. They’re kept in small cages, infected with diseases, burned with chemicals, physically restrained during experiments, deprived of food and water, and the list goes on. In this video, we share three ways that you can fight against animal testing and help support the survivors that BFP rescues. ❤️Shop Cruelty-Free: Avoid buying from companies that harm animals in the making of their products. Look for the cruelty-free bunny logo on the back of labels and download our Cruelty-Cutter app to help you learn which items do and do not test on animals. ❤️Donate to BFP: We use monetary donations to transport our rescues and provide them with the medical attention and supplies they need while they’re in our care. We accept donations via our website (bfp.org/donate) or Venmo/Cashapp (@BeagleFreedom). You can also sponsor one of our animals at bfp.org/sponsor. ❤️Adopt/Foster: Please help us provide these sweet animals with the loving homes they’ve always deserved. You can apply to foster at bfp.org/foster and apply to adopt at bfp.org/adopt. You can also check out all of our adoptable animals at bfp.org/adoptable. They need your help now more than ever. Sawyer (formerly Dasher) was one of over 200 dogs and cats rescued from a testing lab that we shut down in 2024, which was later transformed into Freedom Fields, a sanctuary for animal-cruelty survivors. Before being liberated, Sawyer endured painful and traumatic testing while living outside in harsh conditions. He was one of the most fearful and shut-down dogs at the lab, carrying scars from the unimaginable cruelty he experienced. His “before” photo is particularly heartbreaking—it shows him laying near an electric wire that would shock him if he touched it. This detail is especially poignant because, despite the fear and pain he endured, Sawyer longed so desperately to be loved and trusted. It took almost a year for Sawyer to find his perfect family, but after nine long months, his new parents made the 12-hour journey from Colorado to bring him home from Freedom Fields in Oklahoma. Now 3 years old, Sawyer is thriving in his new life. He loves exploring the outdoors, going on adventures, and bonding with his new parents and fur sibling, Peca. His transformation is nothing short of incredible, especially considering he spent his entire young life confined to a cage or pen. This new chapter is all about love, freedom, and happiness. 🐶 We are so proud of you, Sawyer!❤️ Please consider donating to Beagle Freedom Project to help us continue to rescue, rehab, and re-home testing-lab survivors. Here’s a flashback to Quinn's first steps of freedom. 🐾💫   He was one of 28 beagles rescued by Beagle Freedom Project in 2021 from a lab that we later shut down in 2024. He endured harmful testing and abuse and was the last of his group to leave his crate, but with time and courage, he took that first step into freedom. 🐶   In December of 2021, Quinn was adopted by his forever family, and we couldn’t be more proud of him. ❤️   To help more lab testing survivors like Quinn...  ➡️Consider living a cruelty-free lifestyle with our Cruelty-Cutter app  ➡️Donate to BFP at bfp.org/donate or via Venmo/Cashapp @BeagleFreedom Every bit helps give more survivors like Quinn the freedom they deserve. ✨   #BeagleFreedom #EndAnimalTesting #CrueltyFree #EndAnimalCruelty #DogLovers #BeagleLovers #DogPeople #FYP
