POV:Over the course of lets go with 2 years specifically I've had alot of people walk in and out of my life. Each time someone new (friend) came into my life I always got the "Im here...Im not going anywhere"...less than a year later they were gone. Its like another part of my heart vanished. When I first heard this song I immediately sent the song to my friends in regards to my nieces never being allowed to settle for less than the best. Also for my nephews moms to teach them how they should love their future partner. It then occurred to me that...I also want those things for myself. I've always said that Valentines flowers would be nice-yes but I'd prefer getting them on a random Thursday for no real reason or for them to see flowers at the store or on the side of the road that they saw thinking I'd love them. I want it to be a thoughtful action nit just because it's the norm. POV:it's the 4th Christmas without my grandpa on mom's side and it hit hard this year. Honestly the year he passed I handled the actual celebration fine! it was coming home not being able to crack a joke or have a comment about something he did or said that set me off. What I wouldn't give to just have five more minutes with him. To get that "I love you" that you just felt everywhere surrounding you. He never treated any of us grandkids any different than the next.
