Long Beach’s most glamorous hotel is back—and trust me, you’re going to want to check-in. 🏨💫 Originally built in 1926, the @fairmontbreakers has hosted Hollywood icons, survived earthquakes, and war, and even had a private beachfront elevator (because, of course, it did). Today, it’s been restored to its Gatsby-level glory with ocean-view suites, a luxe spa, and the best rooftop bar in town. 🌊🍸 I was invited to stay the night, so I did it all—slept in a dreamy suite, sipped a Nettuno Spritz at La Sala, had the most romantic dinner at Nettuno with my husband, and uncovered some wild history along the way. Fun fact: There’s still a WWII gun mount on the roof. (Cocktails with a side of history? Yes, please.) The true show-stopper for me, though, is the absolutely Wicked-inspired (not intentionally) rooftop bar, Halo. Their Banana Old Fashioned and their 360 views make it my new favorite place and I intend on having MANY get-togethers here! Whether you are dining at the Sky Room, enjoying jazz at Alter Ego, grabbing coffee or cocktails at La Sala, or eating a delicious Italian meal at Nettuno, you can not go wrong with the many culinary options at this hotel. This is truly a perfect hotel for a romantic staycation like I had, a girls’ weekend or a landing pad for your Long Beach adventures if you are coming from out of town!
