There are so many hidden features inside Figma. Here's my favorite 4 which I use pretty much every single day. Trying to center a frame in view? Don't bother zooming in and scrolling back and forth until it's just right: double click on the layer icon and Figma will auto zoom & center it. This works for any type of element including SECTIONS which is where this feature really shines. Small one but a good one: hide frame layer names by renaming the frame to " " this keeps things really clean when doing in-Figma product demos in your product meetings. Annnnd my favorite hotkey in Figma: copy/paste element styles! This is one of those magic features because you can copy any combination of layer styling: shadows, borders, fills, and AUTO LAYOUT this makes cleaning up non-components so easy to work with. (Btw, I learned most of these through getting to work with the GOAT, @miggifromfigi) #figmadesign #uiux #figmatutorial #designworkflow
Replying to @fly There's one thing in Figma Prototyping holding us back from making amazing things... Math.random() Hear me out... you can have advanced logic. You can set variables and modes and do all kinds of cool things. But without random numbers, you can't build truly dynamic prototypes. This would make it where my Whack a Nol prototype that was on Time's Square last year could fire the heads in random intervals. It could make it where my gameboy prototype I made can get random mobs of Pokemon in a battle scene. And of course... it could randomize cards to create study flashcards or fun memory puzzle games. Let's make it happen, Figma! #figmadesign #figma #figmatutorial #figmaprototype
