This flan is sooo luscious and (remarkably) is made w/ only 3 ingredients! 🫶🏼 I’m not over eggnog at all yet, so if you have any eggnog left or still want some eggnog - turn it into this! Recipe below‼️ Ingredients (for 4-6 servings): -1 cup granulated sugar -4 cups eggnog -5 whole eggs Directions: -Preheat oven to 325F. -Heat a small pan over medium heat. Pour in the sugar. Leave undisturbed until you start seeing parts of it caramelize. Stir and break apart any lumps, continuing to do so until the sugar is smoothly melted and amber in color. -Carefully pour the melted sugar into a 10inch round cake pan, then swirl the sugar around so it coats the sides of the pan. -In a large bowl, combine egg nog and eggs. Use a whisk to stir together, but don’t whip in too much air. Use a fine mesh sieve to strain this mixture into your sugar-coated pan. -Place your flan pan into a much bigger pan that allows room to fill up with water. Pour boiling water into the outer pan until the water nearly comes up to the height of the flan pan (be careful not to overflow it!) -Loosely cover with foil, then place both pans together into the oven. Bake for 1 hour, then remove foil and bake for another 1 hour (or until flan is set but still slightly wobbly). -Carefully remove from oven and remove the flan pan from the hot water pan. Allow the flan to come to room temperature then cover it with plastic wrap and place it in the fridge to chill overnight. -When ready to serve, slide a knife in between the flan and the pan (all around) to loosen it from the pan. Place a large serving dish on top of the open flan pan and flip it over so the flan comes out upside down with the caramel on top. Serve and enjoy!
