Springs advocates from across the state showed up for Florida’s springs at the public hearing regarding the proposed springs harm rules on January 6 at 9 a.m. FSC Executive Director Ryan Smart drove from Jacksonville to Tallahassee on Monday to ask FDEP twelve questions about the proposed springs harm rules. FDEP staff did not answer a single question. Although the purpose of a public hearing is for agency staff to explain the agency’s proposal and to respond to questions and comments regarding the rule, FDEP was unwilling to answer questions and respond to comments at the springs harm rule public hearing. After driving hours to attend the meeting, advocates were met with blank faces and questions fell on deaf ears. ✍️ You can submit comments on the proposed springs harm rules to FDEP at the link in our bio! #floridasprings #florida #floridalaw
Think the police report has the final say? Think again. 🚨 Fort Lauderdale Car Accident Lawyer Eric Rosen explains that in Florida, a police officer’s opinion on fault isn’t admissible in court unless they witnessed the accident. If you know you weren’t at fault, don’t let the report discourage you—call an attorney and protect your rights. 💪 #FortLauderdaleCarAccidentAttorney #PersonalInjuryLaw #FloridaLaw #KnowYourRights
