An anonymous user sent me this story about Fullerton Union High School: I attended Fullerton High School and in our city it’s common knowledge that the school is haunted. It was built in 1893. The entire school is built on top of underground tunnels that were used during World War II in the event of air raids. They stretch across the whole campus, connecting the school to other parts of the city as well as the adjacent community college across the street. Many students and even teachers have mentioned hearing screams and movement down there, despite the tunnels being vacant for decades. My PE class took place in the old south gym (the gym had an access point to these tunnels). My friends and I being curious about these tunnels, decided to open the hatch in the corner of the gym floor and peeked in. it was dark, cold, and you could feel such weird indescribable energy simply radiating from there. I asked my PE teacher shortly after if she had any experiences with these tunnels. She explained to a couple of my classmates and I how she frequently heard accelerating footsteps coming from the tunnel entrance when she was alone in the gym. Since the tunnels connect to the nearby hospital up the hill, she shared hearing cries and sobbing coming from there as well. The south gym was shortly demolished a year later and the entrance to the tunnels were permanently sealed. Did you ever encounter these underground tunnels at Fullerton High.
