Karis & Andrew 🤴🏼👸🏾 We got married September 2023. We found out I was pregnant November of 2023. At our first ultrasound appointment we found out we’re having TWINS, Neither of us wanted to have kids this early in our marriage. The first trimester was roughhhh, I spent much of my time crying and throwing up. I felt so guilty for not being excited for the pregnancy. Andrew stayed by my side. Always willing to do whatever I needed. We are both in a much better place now. Excited more than ever to meet our Girls😊I don’t always understand God timing, but I’m glad he’s in control and not me. Grateful for this little life and the man I get to live it with🤎A few advice we always try to live by: Communicate with one another. And LISTEN to each other when communicating, then go out and follow through on what’s been communicated. If you struggle with mental health (which we both do) take your medicine, go to therapy. You have to take care of yourself so you can be the best version for your partner. Laugh often. Andrew makes me laugh a lot. Life would be so boring if we both took life too seriously. I’m so grateful he gets my humor. Andrew always makes me feel special and beautiful. He never even jokes about my outward appearance. He always has kind things to say even when I’m 33 weeks pregnant with twins feeling far from beautiful haha And if you’re a faith person (which we are) do your best to keep God at the center of your relationship.
