the fact that this sound couldnāt have been more perfect for this journal! Itās new and I love it so I wanted to show it off š¤ Iām sure Iām not the only one who needs this reminder today. If you are also in a season of uncertainty like me, where you canāt really see the light at the end of the tunnel - I want to share a promise with you from our Heavenly Father. Romans 8:28 says, āAnd we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.ā I got another one too, bare with me š¬ āāRomansā¬ ā5ā¬:ā2ā¬-ā4 says, āThrough him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hopeā Note that in the first passage it says that God works āall thingsā together for good. Not just some things, ALL. And with that, God doesnāt always give us what we want, but he ALWAYS gives us what we need. In the second passage it tells us to actually rejoice in the sufferings too - and let me tell you, itās the hardest thing to do. But what is the ending promise of doing the hard thing? Sufferings produces endurance, endurance produces character, and character produces hope. Key word - hope. If we know God works ALL things together for good, and that rejoicing in our suffering produces hope in the long run - itās literally weight lifting if you truly think about it. His plan is far greater than anything we can ever imagine for ourselves, and what a peaceful promise that in times of suffering there is hope and the promise of goodness for those who love him. He is and always will be the calm in our storms, cast your worries and anxieties to him. He has a plan, which is the BEST plan. Have hope in that š«¶š¼
