All the gains I missed out on because I listened to randoms on the internet say certain exercises were “good” or “bad.” Prime example is the hip abductor. I started implementing this exercise back into my routine after 3 1/2 years of not touching it bc someone told me it wasn’t “the most effective” for glute growth. There is so much conflicting information out there; as a beginner I felt extremely overwhelmed by it all- what’s right, wrong, good or bad. What weight to use, how many reps/sets, this form or that, etc. I still struggle to this day finding answers to these questions Ive found it’s much easier to put our trust into randoms on the internet just because they have good physiques rather than into ourselves.
