‼️DISCLAIMER‼️ yes there are TWO menus, halal and non-halal service but there are strict protocols for halal service to prevent cross-contamination as they’ve been in training for this for a couple months now. There is absolutely zero cross-contamination to ensure Muslims have a peace of mind when dining! What’s 100% halal though is the buffet station which is where I think the miscommunication was and the language barrier as well. I apologize for this miscommunication! But rest assured, there’s nothing to be worried about since it doesn’t really change much. :) - - Rio Bonito Grill has done the honor of introducing a halal Brazilian BBQ experience to NYC. 🇧🇷 This is a non-Muslim establishment that went above and beyond to cater to our community and a provide a separate halal service with certified halal meats AND the ingredients are strictly halal too. You don’t have to worry about non-halal stocks or gravies in the side dishes or wine being basted onto the meats like how they do at other Brazilian steakhouses. They offer an all-you-can-eat buffet for the same price of $35/person despite halal meat being much more expensive than the meats they previously had. They do have a bar, but the mocktails menu specifically uses different supplies and is in a separate area in the bar. The owner made sure to purchase new mixing products for this. Please make a reservation, they operate in that matter anyways, and you’ll be better off that way in actually getting a table here. I don’t recommend walking in. Your wait time will be long or you will be turned away. Chicken is by machine.
