It has been a very strange and trying week, riddled with kids' appointments (yay, spending hundreds of dollars at the dentist and optometrist! 🥲), and various other unexpected errands and meetings that have carved up my time like so much cheese (so poetic! 🤣). Top it off with Casey and her kiddos being sick this week, and it's safe to say that I have been leaning real hard on my parents to get stuff done at the shop. I know I have done valuable things over the last couple of weeks, but I can't tell you what those things were. 😬 I feel like I haven't been there at all! 🤦 Thank goodness I have two of the best parents the world has ever known! 🥰 ANYway...😬 LOOK AT THESE CUTIE PATOOTIES!!! 🥰🥰🥰 I didn't think I would like this blush color as much as I have come to, and I'm glad I came across it again! 🥰 Yay, disorganization! 😆 We have quite a few Lil' Guys again this Hatch due to my still working through our many random tubs of random tubs of random fabric. HELLO EVERYONE!!! 😁 We took a week off (mostly 😬), and it was wonderful! 🥰 We ate quite a lot of food, decorated cookies, played games, built Lego sets, worked on a diorama kit with Iris, and had an all-around wonderful time. 🥰 Mom and Casey also started working on apple head dolls, which are...adorable? And not nightmarish abominations? 😅😬 Anyway...😆 Our next Hatching Day will be January 11th, 2024 (DAD'S BIRTHDAY!!! 🥳), 11:00 a.m. MST at plushymonsters.com! There will be Drac! There will be colorful stuff! Mom made some more crazy little dudes from things she's been hiding in her dresser while I was cutting plushies out in the garage! As she does! 😆 It should be a good one! 😁 Also! I decided that I would like to raffle off some plushies and the like to benefit a local non-profit, Maker Space 307, here in Riverton, WY. My husband, David (@damauk), has been involved in Maker Space 307 since it started around ten years ago, and has been working there full-time for a couple of years now. It is a wonderful organization that needs a bit of help, so I figure I can maybe do that! 😬😁 I have never run a raffle before, so we'll see how it goes! 😆 I would love to hear your ideas as to what we should offer for prizes (custom plushy? Spider in Disguise? Other thingies? 🤷) and what you think a fair price would be for a chance to win.
