The image above was recently posted on the Facebook page, Disbelief Paranormal Official, noting that the source credit goes to the site, Ghosts of London. According to the caption: This photo was emailed to me by my son, who took this whilst standing in my living room. There is nothing in this corner other than the picture on the wall. I took some more pictures of that corner but I do not see anything in them at all. Now I’m a little freaked out! I truly do not understand this. As soon as I saw this come across my scrolling, I recognized it immediately. This particular photo, including the living room background, goes back to at least 2017, but the 'ghost' is a bit older. 𝗟𝗢𝗚𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗛𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗧 𝗕𝘆: 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘆 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗮 Folks heres one a ole feller shared with me a while back. Good buddy named Herman. We was talkin about Haint stories and he told me one that…lordy give me the chills. Said his granddaddy was a logger back in the mountains when they used a 2 man saw (ole cross cut hand saw) and mules to snakem out with. Said the boss man got to cut on some land that was prime! The owner did tell him however, there was an ole man that lived in an ole house back in there that they’d have to run off. He’d run him off several times, told him the land wernt his and everything but he always come back. Said just ignore him and get the timber. Well said they took out heading up there one mornin. The owner and a few other fellers gathered up and the owner told them to stay put on a ridge top and starta fallin. Said him an a few fellers was gonna go talk to that ole man and let him know what was going on cause said he kinda felt sorry for the man figuring the land was once his families or somethin. Herman said the owner and a few other good size fellers went down to his ole house. Said they could see the chimley smoke in the distance so they was purty close. Hermans Pa an the rest started ta work. Well lil bit later they came back. Unfortunately the poor ole soul had passed just a short time ago cause a far was goin. But he was gone. They sent a man to tell folks down in town about it. Well sad as it was they still had ta work. Herman said his Pa said the minute they started sawin and chippin…. An eeerie breeze was comin up & over the ridge. Said the mules was balkin up and everything. Said them woods got almost just as dark as if a bad storm was brewin up. Said all of a sudden every team of ole mules they had broke out runnin. They hollered and everything but they wernt stoppin. Lot of the loggers was takin out after’em when they stopped dead in their tracks!! Said up on a big ole oak stump was the ole man. Said mind ye, he was old…but even old…he was a very very large man! Bout 6’4 250. Long white hair and a beard. Stood there but ye couldn’t see his lags! He pointed at’em and said “You’ll not tech narry a tree nor sapplin!!!” But when he said that …his mouth never moved! PHANTOM HITCHHIKER ENCOUNTER Back in the 1970s there was a young woman who got in a car crash and it ended up taking her life. Her parents was very sad as any parent would be, and they identified her and everything like that. They had a funeral and buried her. It was about 6 months later, a man came and knocked on their door. Saying he had their daughter in the car outside said she needed a ride back home. They thought it was some kind of sick joke they went outside to look in his car and nothing. They told him to get, thanking it was a sick joke. Now to the story there was a man said he was out driving one night. He stopped at a gas station to fill up the truck and he was asking the guy in the gas station how far it was to get to where he was going? He showed him the road he was going to be going down, that old man stopped him before he could finish what he was saying. The old man said "wow, I wouldn’t go that way if i was you." He asked him "why?" He said about two years back a woman was killed on that road. " I don’t believe in all that stuff" The old man said well i can’t stop you and he showed him the way. Then he said "what ever you do don’t pickup nobody on that road" He paid and left put gas in the truck and down the road he went. He drove for about 20 or 30 miles, he was coming around a curve in the road when he seen a woman standing in the road flagging him down. Well he stopped and asked her what she needed. She said her car broke down and ask him if he would take her to her parents house. It's about 10 miles up the road. He was going that way anyways so he said yes come on. He can remember not seeing a broken down car anywhere but said he didn’t think much of it at the time. He was talking to her, she didn’t say anything out of the way, so he didn’t think much about it. He was just thanking about taking her home. He pulled in the driveway of the house where she told him to. She said for him to go knock on the door. He got out of the car, she didn’t, he thought that was weird. She didn’t get out of the car too, but he went and knocked on the door. A man answered, so he said he had their daughter in the car, that her car broke down. The man stopped him and told him to get! Because they had enough of the sick jokes! He said "what are you talking about sir, she’s in my truck." He looked back at his truck and nothing. The man slammed the door in his face. He went back to his truck and nobody was in it. He started freaking out. He got back in his truck and high tailed it out of there! He went back the other way. He was driving and thanking about the situation. He knows he didn’t take his eyes off the truck but for a split second to look at the man at the door. It was not enough time for someone to get out and hide somewhere. He drove about 10 miles. He finally came back to the curve in the road. He said there she was standing. Trying to flag him down! He said it scared him about half to death. He flooded it ! He said he drove home and the whole time thanking about what happened. A couple of months later he went back to that gas station. Come to find out, the old man that told him about the road, was the man that picked her up 6 months after she died. He told him about what happened, which is the beginning of the story. After he left the gas station, he said he never went back around there again. He didn’t care if anybody believed him. He seen, what he seen. People say at night you can still see that woman, trying to flag people down.
