I was a highly sensitive child (specifically an anxious, perfectionistic, ADHD girl in the 90s who talked "too much" and was always "distracting"). Here's one thing I wished I had: a parent who really understood me. Instead, I was rejected, dismissed, ridiculed, and told I needed to "try harder" to be what everybody expected of me. Almost 4 decades later, and I'm still healing from the anxious perfectionist who fears if she isn't 'just right' then she'll be 'all wrong'. IYKYK. I know you want to be in your child's corner more than anything. And I also know that parenting your highly sensitive child comes with unique challenges. You need a different road map. ⭐️That's why I'm teaching a class inside my community this Monday, Feb 10th called HELPING YOUR SENSITIVE KID THRIVE. You'll learn more tools for helping your child build their confidence, express themselves in a way that feels good for them, and find more joy in being the bright light that they are.
