One of the main things Will & I connected on years ago was our love for Marathon, TX. We have separate special memories made there while growing up but since being together, we’ve more than doubled that collection. It’s like stepping back in time. The vibe just hits different but the Gage is the oasis ❤️ every once in a random blue moon, we steal away and reserve a room for a night or two. This random time was a surprise bday gift from Will. We often have folks ask what the rooms are like… so insert this video! The museum’s collection is an homage to the Gilded Age and the hobbies and furnishings of the time. It includes ornate furniture, busts, stained glass, vintage typewriters, and cut glassware from opulent Gilded Age mansions. Beyond the museum’s permanent collection, the building is a work of art.
