When God put this channel on my heart, I actually wanted someone else to be on camera, because the thought of singing in front of people terrified me. My voice (especially singing off-key) has been my biggest insecurity for as long as I can remember. I would never sing out loud unless I was in a group or had music to blend in with. I know I could have skipped singing all together and just made an educational channel, but I really love to sing, and all the Sunday school songs I grew up with mean so much to me. . When I finally stepped in front of the camera, I spent hours recording and re-recording each song, trying to piece together the best parts from each take. I spent a lot of time researching EQ, and trying to make things sound better. No matter how hard I tried, nothing sounded right. Several generous people offered help and advice, but it was nearly impossible to fix things remotely. Each episode started becoming more stressful. I wasn’t even sure what to search for to find someone to help me. What job description would that even be? . One morning I woke up to this email from @KelKeyz and it brought me to tears. I had been praying and hoping for this exact thing, and I was in awe of God’s faithfulness when Kelwin reached out. . Satan knew exactly where to attack…But God provided. I love this verse in Exodus where God is speaking to Moses. And God tells him “"Who makes a person's mouth? Who decides whether people speak or do not speak, hear or do not hear, see or do not see? Is it not I, the Lord? Now go! I will be with you as you speak, and I will instruct you in what to say." . I'm so thankful for all the encouraging support and messages from you that kept me going - just knowing it was making a difference to your kids helped so much! . If God has put something on your heart, don’t let the enemy convince you that you’re not capable.
