Brothers and sisters in Christ, I want to speak to the weary heart—the one who feels like they’ve strayed too far, messed up too much, or wandered too long to ever get back on track. If that’s you, let me remind you of this unshakable truth: God’s plans for you are still good, even when you’ve strayed. I’ve been there, caught in the tension of knowing God’s truth but feeling the weight of my own wandering. There were seasons I felt like I had blown it—like I had gone so far off course that there was no way His plans for me could still be intact. But do you know what I’ve learned in the depths of my soul? God’s plans are not dependent on my perfection. In my straying, He remained faithful. In my doubts, He never wavered. And in my brokenness, His grace covered me. The detours I thought would disqualify me were simply a part of His redemptive story for my life. Jeremiah 29:11 doesn’t say, “I know the plans I have for you, but only if you don’t mess up.” No—it says, “I know the plans I have for you… plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Even when we stray, God’s plans remain unshaken. He doesn’t abandon us in our wandering; He meets us there and gently guides us back to Him. What the enemy meant for harm, God will turn for good (Genesis 50:20). So if you’re feeling lost, hear this: God is not done with you. His plans for you are still good. He can use every detour, every failure, every moment of wandering to bring you closer to Him and closer to the purpose He’s placed in your life. Let this be the moment you stop running and start trusting. God’s love hasn’t changed. His plans haven’t changed. And He’s waiting to walk this road with you. Tag someone who needs this reminder today. Let’s build one another up in the truth of God’s faithfulness.
